Jerash is situated about 50 kilometres from Amman, so when visiting Jerash we should plan a whole day for walks in the historical centre, where we can virtually travel back 2000 years into the past. The entire tour takes about 3 hours. During that time we can get to know the history of the city and get a feeling of the different ages. Every part of the ruins connects to a different historical era, telling about those different nations and their customs who lived there.
