The truth is that Islamic sacred spots are usually not mentioned among the sites the country has to offer for visitors, yet they do deserve to be mentioned when writing about the country.
 

Many tombs of sacred-lived Muslim worriers can be found in the valley of the Jordan River and the mosques built above these tombs carry their names. Let me mention just a few: Abu Obeida, who was one of the first to convey his religion by the Prophet; Mo’ath bin Jebel, one of those, who were trusted by the Prophet to assemble the Holly Koran; Shurahbil bin Hasanah, one of the first Muslims; Dirar bin Al-Azwar, a poet and temperament soldier.
