Amman
Salt

Once, this city was Jordan’s capital, today it is a county capital under the name of as-Salt. Walking on the beautiful streets we see gorgeous houses, all of which remained from the Ottoman Empire. The Turkish-style city was not affected by modernisation. Famous for its art and craft, we can watch the artists in the Handcraft Centre, but it is also advisable to visit the Archaeological Museum of Salt.

Iraq al-Amir

About 25 kilometres from Amman, heading south-west we arrive to Wadi Es-Seer’s wonderful valley, where Iraq al-Amir’s (“The cave of the prince”) famous Ammonite tower’s ruins are located. The history of the place is obvious from the relics and statues.
